ED - An early warning of cardiovascular disease

Postby doc on Tue Apr 07, 2009 9:34 am

German Society of Internal Medicine has revealed that Erectile Dysfunction can be an early warning sign of cardiovascular disease. Male Impotence and cardiovascular disease are more frequent with advancing age and occur more often in men who smoke, have diabetes, and have high blood pressure or high cholesterol levels. ED and cardiovascular disease may also have the same underlying cause which is dysfunction of the endothelium, the inner lining of blood vessels.

ED can be an early warning for diabetes, high blood pressure or higher cholesterol levels as well. It is really important to speak to your doctor as soon as you experience ed. Remember ed can be treated and when it is treated, your doctor can also respond to the early warning signals about other underlying diseases as well.
